The Emotion, Health, and Psychophysiology Lab at Yale is accepting volunteer research assistants for Fall 2024. Interested individuals can email riley.hoffman@yale.edu with their interest in applying.

Our research focuses on embodiment -- how the mind influences the body, and the reciprocal, how bodily changes influence thoughts, emotions, and intentions. Research assistants working in the lab are exposed to a variety of studies at the intersection of social psychology, emotion, sleep, and psychophysiology.

Research assistants learn how to conduct studies, collect physiological data, and edit and score autonomic data. Our research assistants work at least 10-12 hours a week for two school semesters. Please note that the lab operates between 8 am and 7 pm on both weekdays and weekends, depending on study requirements. We recruit students from Yale as well as surrounding universities; this is a fully in-person position.
